1 min read
In May 2023, the small community of Henryetta, Oklahoma was shaken by the discovery of seven bodies on a rural property — a murder‑suicide carried out by Jesse McFadden, 39, a registered sex offender. McFadden killed his wife, Holly Guess, 35, her three children — Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13 — along with two teenage girls who were staying over for a sleepover, Ivy Webster, 14, and Brittany Brewer, 15, before taking his own life. The case exposed deep failures in the supervision of violent offenders, raised urgent questions about investigative gaps, and left families demanding accountability for a system that failed to protect six young people and a mother.
