In August 2013, 17-year-old Alexis Murphy disappeared after stopping at a gas station in rural Virginia. Surveillance footage captured her speaking with local man Randy Taylor—the last person known to see her alive.
What followed was an intense investigation that uncovered disturbing forensic evidence inside Taylor’s camper trailer. Even without a body, prosecutors built a case that would ultimately lead to a conviction. Years later, Alexis’s remains were finally found, bringing long-awaited answers to her family.
